---Espresso Roast---
Our highly popular “Forest” blend but with a local, Dorset twist…Named after one of the most iconic lighthouses in the UK, overlooking the Channel. The Espresso Roast... It is exactly that. Perfect for espresso machines & bean to cup machines. Without taking away any of the unique flavours you'll find in a Colombian bean we've roasted these slightly darker than others to bring out the punch and the rich, lingering aftertaste. All while adding the slightly sweeter, chocolatey, all-round taste of the Brazilian beans. Making it a perfect morning pick-me-up.
Origins - Colombia, Brazil
Tasting Notes - Hazelnut, Dark Chocolate, Dried Fruits
Process - Washed/Natural
Recommended Use - Espresso Machines, Bean to Cup Machines

---Medium/Dark Roast Decaf---
Our fan favourite decaf “Hillside” but with a local, Dorset twist…Named after the iconic Corfe Castle, situated in the Purbeck region of South Dorset. A decaf coffee shouldn't only for people who can't have caffeine... There is NO reason a decaf can't be as good as a caffeinated cup. And that's what we believe we've achieved. A slightly darker roast to bring out the richer, chocolatiness and the sweet acidity that these Colombian beans have picked up whilst growing in the famous Huila & Tolima regions. It is also decaffeinated using the sugarcane process, which, in a simplified way, washes the caffeine away using a Ethyl Acetate, a natural acid derived from sugarcane. making it a huge amount more environmentally friendly than almost all other processes.
Origins - Colombia (Huila & Tolima Regions)
Tasting Notes - Brown Sugar, Raisin, Apple Tart
Processes- Washed, Sugarcane Decaffeination
Recommended Use - We’ve managed to get this decaf roast to a place where it works really well in any brewing method!

What is Dorset Roast?
Dorset Roast, from The Eco Coffee Roasters, is a range of coffees with our beloved home county at it’s forefront. All our staff are either from Dorset or have lived here for a long time so are well aware of it’s beauty, history and unique ecological heritage.
These coffees are all special Dorset editions of our Eco Coffee range…

Portland Bill is the Dorset edition of our “Forest” Blend. A rich, vibrant espresso roast. Positioned at the most southerly tip of Dorset, along the Jurassic Coast, is the famous landmark of Portland Bill and it’s iconic red and white painted lighthouse.
Gold Hill is the Dorset edition of our best-selling “Signature” blend. A sweet, bold medium/dark roast. Most famously used in the 1970’s Hovis advert. This is an iconic cobbled road and home to some picturesque thatched cottages and views of the beautful Dorset landscape.
Corfe Castle is the Dorset edition of our “Hillside” Decaffeinated roast. A bold, chocolatey decaf. Built by William the Conqueror in the 11th Century, later destoryed by Parliamentarians in the 17th Century, it is one of the most defining landmarks in Dorset.
